• Where are the meetings held?

  • The meetings are currently held at a community room located in Vandalia, Ohio.

• How often will we meet and what time?

  • HYLP meetings are held twice a month, every other Sunday. We normally try to meet from 4:30pm-6:30pm but the day and time is subject to change per meeting due to several different reasons.

• Will we be notified of any changes?

  • All HYLP members and guests will be notified of any changes made for that weeks meeting at least 24-48 hours before the meeting. You may be notified via email, text message, phone call or by the HYLP website.

• Who can join HYLP?

  • Any young lady between the ages 11-18 may join after filling out the registration form located under the “JOIN HYLP” tab on the website.

• Is transportation provided?

  • No, transportation is not provided at this time, but we hope to add that soon.

​

• Who can attend the meetings?

  • No one other than HYLP’s members can attend any of the meetings unless stated otherwise by an administrator.

​

• What happens after a mentee turns 19?

  • When a mentee turns 19 years of age, the goal is for her to become a mentor. She must meet all the requirements and be willing to take on the responsibilities of becoming a mentor. If the mentee does not want to become a mentor, she will then graduate from the HYLP program.
